National First Responders Day is observed annually on October 28th to honor firefighters, police officers, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics, 911 dispatchers, and other public safety professionals. These Everyday Heroes risk their lives, protect us and serve others daily. We appreciate these men and women who give so freely. 🐾

This notice is to inform the public that a majority of the Hyder School Board members may be in attendance at the annual Fall Festival.
Please be advised that this gathering is not a formal school board meeting. The board members are attending in their capacity as community members and will not engage in any discussion, deliberation, or official action on district business.
This notice is provided out of transparency to the public in accordance with the spirit of the state's Open Meeting Law.

We are excited to share that our Cougars are doing great in today’s tournament! Because of this event, there will be a few adjustments to our afternoon bus routes:
Lower-grade students will be dismissed and transported home at their regular time.
Athletes will be dropped off at Antelope High School (time TBD) and Tacna Chevron (time TBD).
The Sun Country Route for athletes will run later than usual this afternoon, only for this one time, due to the short notice and schedule changes.
We appreciate your understanding and support of our student athletes. Thank you for your patience and flexibility.
