Dear Community, 🚌 We want to take a moment to share important information about school bus safety. School buses are among the safest vehicles on the road, thanks to the many safety features built into their design and the strict procedures our drivers follow every day. ✔️ Safety Features – School buses are equipped with high, cushioned seats, strong body frames, and required emergency equipment to protect students. ✔️ Loading & Unloading – Drivers follow state-mandated procedures to ensure students get on and off the bus safely. When a school bus is loading or unloading, it remains on the road and does not pull onto the shoulder. The bus activates its amber warning lights before stopping, then its stop arm and red lights once stopped—alerting all drivers that children may be crossing. 🛑 ✔️ Railroad Crossings – Our buses always stop, open the door, and ensure it is safe before crossing railroad tracks. 💙Your patience and cooperation help us keep every child safe. Please remember: when the red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended, all traffic must stop. Thank you for supporting student safety in our community. 🐾

If you’re interested in Volleyball or Football, come by the Blue Gym at Antelope Union High School this week between 4:30 and 7:00 pm to sign up for summer sports camp! Ages 6-13 for football and 8-12 for volleyball. 🏐 🏈 Sign up!! Give your child/ren a heads start to the fall time sports.

Join us at Dateland School on Saturday, July 5th. Attend the other fireworks shows on Friday, the 4th, but then come to ours on Saturday night, July 5th. We always have a great time and make it memorable! We have food, fun and fireworks with family and friends! We dedicate the fireworks to individuals whom we have lost throughout the years while we announce a special message from loved ones. You have a chance to sponsor a firework if you're interested in doing so. Please contact our office @ 928-454-2242 Monday though Friday 9:00 am - 1:00 p.m.

Our library is still open this summer! We offer story time and crafts on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, along with various programs. Continue to read throughout the summer and explore the books. We hope to see you on July 3rd!

Yes... Summer just started.... Yes.... We are already missing our kids....Yes....We would love to have you enroll with us for the 2025 - 2026 school year! Our Parent Meeting & Open House will be held Monday. August 4, 2025 in the Gym @ 5:00 p.m.and then travel to the classrooms @ 6:00 p.m. for Open House, Meet the Teachers and to pick your child's schedules. If you're thinking of enrolling - NOW is the time. Contact our office @ 928-454-2242 to have the registration forms emailed to you. School begins Tuesday, August 5, 2025. The first two days of school - our dismissal time is at 12:30.

We are seeking community support through fireworks sponsorship. With each sponsorship, we ask for your message. Your special message will be announced before your fireworks are ignited. This is a long tradition in our community's fireworks show. We take a moment to honor a loved one and also to express our appreciation for your donation. Our show costs over $8000.00, and sponsorship is necessary for the continued success. This is our largest event of the year! We will hold our 4th of July celebration on SATURDAY, JULY 5TH. WE'RE HIRING!! TITLE: ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER REQUIREMENTS: BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN ELEMENTARY EDUCATION, MUST HAVE A VALID ARIZONA STANDARD PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE (K-8) & 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS AN ELEMENTARY TEACHER JOB DUTIES Teach Math, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Art, & Health to young school-aged children between kindergarten up to third grade levels. Instruct students individually & in groups, using teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, & demonstrations. Establish & enforce rules for behavior & procedures for maintaining order among the students. Adapt teaching methods & instructional materials to meet students' varying needs & interests. Plan & conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, & work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, & investigate. Prepare materials for class activities. Observe & evaluate students' performance, behavior, social development, & physical health. Confer with parents or guardians, teachers, & administrators to resolve students' behavioral & academic problems. Meet with parents & guardians to discuss their children's progress & to determine priorities for their child & their resource needs. Use computers, audio-visual aids, & other equipment & materials to supplement lesson presentations. Meet with other professionals to discuss individual students' needs & progress.
