This week has been an amazing week with our students having birthdays, we recognized 51 students with perfect attendance for the month of August, our Student Council held a car wash fundraiser and we also celebrated student’s of the month for being “ cooperative” in and around the campus. Dear Community, 🚌 We want to take a moment to share important information about school bus safety. School buses are among the safest vehicles on the road, thanks to the many safety features built into their design and the strict procedures our drivers follow every day. ✔️ Safety Features – School buses are equipped with high, cushioned seats, strong body frames, and required emergency equipment to protect students. ✔️ Loading & Unloading – Drivers follow state-mandated procedures to ensure students get on and off the bus safely. When a school bus is loading or unloading, it remains on the road and does not pull onto the shoulder. The bus activates its amber warning lights before stopping, then its stop arm and red lights once stopped—alerting all drivers that children may be crossing. 🛑 ✔️ Railroad Crossings – Our buses always stop, open the door, and ensure it is safe before crossing railroad tracks. 💙Your patience and cooperation help us keep every child safe. Please remember: when the red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended, all traffic must stop. Thank you for supporting student safety in our community. 🐾
